Intramural Sports

Player & Team Registration

To register for all Intramural Sports, you must first create an account through IMLeagues. Once your account is set up, you can register a team to play or as a free agent. Spots are limited, and will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

In order to register your team on IMLeagues, you must follow the prompts and pay for your team at the time of registration. If you do not pay for your team via the online process on IMLeagues, your team will not be created. Interhall teams are not required to pay for their teams during registration. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of our Sport Programs Coordinators. To sign-up as a “Free Agent”, search for the league and division that you are interested in participating in, and you will see the option of either signing up a team, “Create Team,” or registering as a “Free Agent.”

After registering a team, all registered and waitlisted teams must attend the MANDATORY captains meeting. Teams that do not attend the captains meeting are subject to losing their spot to waitlisted teams who are present. For Captains Meetings that are virtual, a Zoom link will be sent with access information prior to the meeting.

Do I have to attend the Captains Meetings?

All teams must have a captain or team representative present at the captains meeting for each sport their team is registered in. Attendance is mandatory and will be taken at the beginning and end of each meeting. Waitlisted teams may take the place of any team not represented by the end of the captains meeting. Waitlisted teams that get a spot in the league must be prepared to pay immediately following the conclusion of the meeting.

Refer back to our list of Intrmaural Sport offerings to view a complete list of Captains Meetings for the semester.

What do I need to bring to check-in for an Intramural Sports competition?

To play in all Intramural Sports, participants must show a valid, government-issued photo ID. This includes an Irish1Card, state issued driver’s license, U.S. and foreign government-issued passports, and/or U.S. military ID. The photo must be visible and discernible by the Intramural employee checking IDs. This helps to ensure player eligibility in accordance with the IMLeagues roster. It is the expectation that you check in with the Intramural Supervisor that is on site before entering into a game. Any form of the listed valid Identification methods must be physically present at the time of check-in, and pictures or copies of that Identification method will not be accepted.

How many teams can I play on?

Participants can play on one single gender or open team, and one co-rec team per league, per sport.

Are there opportunities for faculty and staff to participate in Intramural Sports?

Yes. There are multiple opportunities throughout the year for Faculty and Staff to participate in different intramural sports. Faculty and Staff can participate in our All-Campus offerings, as well as our Co-Rec and Grad-Faculty-Staff (GFS) Offerings.
